Telling the Story

Posted in On Assignment by erinbrethauer on September 4, 2013

My friend Matt Pearl, a  television reporter in Atlanta and an all-around wonderful person, started a really great blog and podcast where he writes and talks with storytellers in the journalism world today. I like that he doesn’t narrow his scope to just one area of journalism. He’s talking to reporters, photographers and bloggers involved with TV, newspapers and the web. It’s a great resource if you’re interested in learning more about how people approach storytelling.  I talked with Matt about my recent work at camp which you can check out here. 2013 Telling the story

Hi all- I’m really excited to be guest hosting the New Yorker’s Instagram feed this week with iPhone images from Camp Lakey Gap that I took over the course of two weeks in July.  There will be a mix of images from a week of 4-10 year old high-functioning kids with autism and a week of adults with autism.  I hope you’ll check it out!

The New Yorker handle is @newyorkermag and my personal handle is @erinbrethauer.  Thanks for looking!photo(2)
